Samurai Swords For Top 3 Finishers!
So the COLD STEEL II Event just got alittle better…
In the process of deciding what awards should be given to the Runner-up and third place finishers in each division, it became abundantly clear what needed to be done…all top finishers would be awarded a sword for the effort put forth on the mat!
Lets face it, a guy could battle for over an hour in just ONE MATCH…and they may do this multiple times in one division. Even if they end up with a 3rd Place finish…that person deserves something that reflects their determination.
1st Place Finishers will be awarded a full length Katana Sword
2nd Place Finishers will be awarded a Wakazashi Sword
3rd Place Finishers will be awarded a Tanto Sword
This Guy is a Submission Only Machine…Look OUT!
He’s ready for war…are you?
All joking aside, this is shaping up to be a great Sub Only No-Gi Absolute Division. Alot of high level competitors are looking to make a statement and collect a pay check in the process. The Cold Steel II event is on January 21st in Greensburg, Pa. We expect to see some battles being waged at the Pennsylvania Combat Sports center as they host this second installment of the Cold Steel Submission Only Tournament Series.
